At Fair West Trailers, we are committed to supplying quality trailers and related equipment. Our warranty policy is designed to provide clarity regarding manufacturer warranties and our responsibilities as the dealer.

Manufacturer Warranty

Most new trailers sold through Fair West Trailers are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty coverage, duration, and terms vary depending on the manufacturer and trailer model.

Manufacturer warranties may cover defects in:
• Structural frame
• Axles
• Suspension components
• Factory-installed electrical systems
• Factory-installed components

Warranty periods and coverage are determined solely by the manufacturer.

Items Not Covered

The following are generally not covered under warranty unless specifically stated by the manufacturer:
• Normal wear and tear
• Tires
• Wheels
• Brake adjustments
• Cosmetic scratches or dents occurring after delivery
• Damage caused by accidents
• Improper loading or overloading
• Lack of maintenance
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Corrosion caused by environmental conditions
• Misuse or neglect

Warranty Claims

If you believe your trailer has a warranty issue:
1. Contact Fair West Trailers as soon as the issue is discovered.
2. Provide your order number, photos, and a description of the problem.
3. We will assist in coordinating the claim with the manufacturer where applicable.
4. Do not perform repairs without written authorization, as this may void the warranty.

Inspection

Products may need to be inspected before warranty approval. The manufacturer reserves the right to repair, replace, or deny warranty coverage based on their inspection.

Limitation of Liability

Fair West Trailers is not responsible for:
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of business or income
• Rental costs
• Travel expenses
• Storage fees
• Any damages beyond the original purchase price where permitted by law

Warranty Transfer

Unless specifically stated by the manufacturer, warranties are generally non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:
• Inspecting the trailer upon delivery.
• Following the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.
• Operating the trailer within its rated capacity.
• Keeping maintenance records where required.
